Air New Zealand flies to Houston

The passengers were welcomed to Houston with a performance on the tarmac by a kapa haka group made up of Air New Zealand staff.

Air New Zealand's inaugural service to Houston arrived on Tuesday Afternoon at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Air New Zealand are using their refurbished Boeing 777-200 on this flight. This is Air NZ's fifth North American Route. Pecan Pie, a Southern State Delicacy was handed out by Air New Zealand staff to passengers on board. This new route allows Kiwis to discover the southern states and beyond and or Americans to visit New Zealand which just became closer with an approximate 14 hour flight.
