Singapore Airline's Capital Express

One of the world's biggest airlines, Singapore Airlines announced the from the 20 September 2016 the will be flying to Canberra onto Wellington; the Capitals of Australia and New Zealand. The aim of this is to bring international flights to the newly capable airport of Canberra, Australia and to be the first airline to connect Canberra and Wellington. Flights will be operated with a retrofitted 777-200. As suggested before the announcement, Canberra Airport can be capable of handling an overloaded Sydney Airport with refurbished facilities to handle international flights. I guess from September these will be of use. Virgin Australia is already signed a codeshare for the route. Before Inauguration, Star Alliance member Air New Zealand is to sign a codeshare with these flights.
